Tuesday 4/19/2022 In light of the Egyptian State’s declaration of 2022 as the Year of Civil Society, the Misr Al-Khair Unit for Capacity Building of NGOs is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the regional training program “Preparing a Sustainable Institutional Development Specialist for NGOs, Class of 2022.” The programs aim to support Arab civil society organizations by qualifying and preparing the cadres working within them who are concerned with institutional development and improvement using modern methods and tools to complete the development process and improve sustainable institutional performance. The training takes 10 training days during which the concept of institutional development is introduced and the stages of the continuous development process are reviewed, starting with monitoring institutional gaps that affect the organization’s performance, proposing interventions, planning the development process, measuring returns, and learning about the European model of institutional excellence and institutional quality standards, all in light of integrating Foundations and principles of good internal governance, and requirements for institutional sustainability. The program also provides participants with an interactive educational environment and an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, emphasize best institutional practices, and encourage them to build institutional models based on concepts and applications of sustainable development in the field of institutional development. It is worth noting that this training program was designed and launched to meet a severe need within the NGO community for the presence of qualified cadres in the field of “sustainable institutional development,” as well as the scarcity of training and educational opportunities on that subject by specialized academic and training bodies. The training program and the certificate of passing the program are sponsored and accredited by many international and regional bodies. Online training via Zoom application “The duration of the program is 10 training days over two months, starting in June 2022.” The deadline for submission is May 12, 2022.
